Meals at JRC are a wondrous time of day. We are proud to present a yummy California cuisine that features lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, child-favored foods and homemade desserts. We shun packaged and pre-cooked foods and prepare all meals from "scratch". Our chocolate cake recipe is fabulous and the kids love our specialty taco salad and enchiladas.
We grow a large vegetable garden so, as soon as harvest begins, we have fresh lettuce and salad makings from the garden. We freeze fresh corn and enjoy it all summer until the corn on the cob is ready in August.
Our meat is range-fed, natural beef, chicken and pork. Our chickens provide us with some eggs and our pigs are raised on the same healthy, yummy food that we eat. Our bacon and sausage are made here on the ranch and are a taste treat.
If you prefer vegetarian options we offer stir-fry tofu, vegetarian lasagna, and other non-meat, delicious main courses.
We serve cafeteria style and please remember to clean your plate in order to get dessert.
Once a week, we have a good ol' hot dog roast and we all make s'mores over an open fire. Can't you just taste those roasted marshmallows right now?
We are accustomed to children's individual needs and if allergies are an issue, we know how to accommodate.
