Typical Camp Week
Sunday
- Arrival on change-over Sunday
- Helping people unpack and settling campers in.
- New Games, ice-breaker games to help get people to get to know each other.
- Some usual activities with campers who have been here previous sessions.
- Ice Cream made in afternoon every Sunday.
- Afternoon swimming, program testing, orientation hikes.
- Sleeping area getting acquainted / bonding meeting
- Assigning camper jobs for the week, choosing tables at dinner.
- Evening orientation talk with new campers in Rose Arbor.
- First Sunday of each session, all counselors go to bed when campers go to bed, for support and comforting.
Monday
- Staff and Program introductions at morning announcements
- Program testing continues (horses, waterfront) first Monday
- Showers in afternoon, 5:00
Tuesday
- Letter writing day, after breakfast
- Laundry pickup, 5:00
Wednesday
- Hike day (everyone takes a lunch hike away from camp),
- Ice Cream made in afternoon.
- Showers, 5:00
- Group night or talent show after dinner
Thursday
- Laundry distribution after breakfast,
Friday
- Special program for the session, i.e. carnival,luau,secret pals, etc.
- Showers
- After dinner barn dance
Saturday
- All-camp clean-up.
- End of session Shows put on for parents at 10:30AM,
- Awards given out after shows at the stage.
- Departure day for campers leaving at end of session.
- Evening cook-out in Big Yard.
- Showers (sometimes)
