You Know What JRC Can Do For a Child
Give the Gift of Camp
At Jameson Ranch Camp, we award approximately $30,000 in camp scholarships each year to families who would not otherwise be able to afford the experience. These awards are not funded by an endowment or outside grant. They are not built into tuition. We provide them because we believe access to camp should never be limited by a family’s financial circumstances.
Our program is two full weeks—long enough for meaningful transformation to take place.
Two weeks allows a child to move beyond homesickness.
Two weeks allows skills to compound—on horseback, on the waterfront, on the trail.
Two weeks allows friendships to deepen and confidence to take root.
This is not a short exposure experience. It is immersion. And for many children, that immersion is life-changing.
How You Can Help
You can partner with us in expanding access by making a tax-deductible contribution through the American Camp Association.
Donations may be directed toward:
General Scholarship Support – Direct tuition assistance for families in need
Specific Projects – Facility improvements, safety upgrades, infrastructure enhancements
Program Purchases – Horses, tack, fishing equipment, waterfront safety gear, or other mission-critical supplies
Events & Experiences – Sponsorship of special activities that elevate the camper experience
Every dollar given translates directly into access.
Why It Matters
Two uninterrupted weeks in a structured, values-driven environment produces measurable growth:
Resilience developed through challenge
Leadership cultivated through responsibility
Independence practiced daily
Confidence earned—not granted
When a child attends on scholarship, they are not receiving charity. They are receiving opportunity.
If you believe that camp builds stronger, more capable young people—and that those experiences should be available to families who need assistance—we invite you to join us.
