Meet Our Directors

Erica Jameson

was raised at Jameson Ranch Camp, immersed in ranch life and spending summers with campers and staff. After a decade as a high school history teacher, she left to pursue a Master’s Degree in History at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Her leadership role at JRC began in 2006, transitioning to owner/director in 2010. Since then, she has been evolving and strengthening the program, honoring its traditions while adapting it for the 21st century.

Erica and her husband, Rob, reside in Southern Oregon during the off-season, where she teaches History at Southern Oregon University. They are parents to three sons—Jack, Sabin, and Tavin—who also spent much of their childhood at JRC, learning and growing, just like her.

Caitlin Latta’s

family have been part of JRC since the 1950s, and she is a second-generation camper and counselor. She has been at the helm of JRC since 2012, starting out as the CIT Director. She brings strong organizational skills, incredible energy, and enthusiasm to the JRC team, and JRC is a better place for having her here! Her guitar music is a wonderful way to wind down the day and relax. Caitlin met husband and fellow Director,

Ryan Griffith,

at JRC! He was an Ohio import in 2013 who loved camp (and Caitlin) so much that he’s been here ever since! They got married at JRC in Fall 2021 at Dream Spot. He’s an incredible addition to the director team, and we’re lucky to have his generous spirit and warm energy at JRC!

JRC Education

The JRC Crew are leaders on the national camping scene. Erica is the Western Representative for the Camp Owners and Directors Organization and volunteers with the American Camping Association, teaching new camp directors the trade. Caitlin is well-known for developing our powerful CIT program and has helped other camps refine theirs.
