How Do You Want to Be Remembered?
Join the JRC Staff!
Join us at JRC and become part of the family. We’re seeking the zany, the quirky, the bold, and the brilliant to join us for a fantastic summer. If you’re looking to change the world, make a difference, and be part of something bigger than yourself, we have an opportunity for you to do just that.
Summer camp is a world of fun, but the job isn’t for everyone. It requires an endless supply of patience, the ability to be rejuvenated by the campers around you, and a limitless supply of energy.
We are extremely rustic: Are you comfortable being dirty? Do you enjoy sleeping outside? Can you live without Wifi? How do you feel about outhouses? These are realities of JRC.
You will change lives. You will be there when a child sees the Milky Way for the first time. You will be there when a child pushes their own boundaries and accomplishes something remarkable. You will be the shoulder they cry on when they’re homesick and the one who helps them smile through the tears. They will never forget you, and you will never forget them.

JRC impacted my life most by giving me a strong reference point for working hard and living a good, happy life. When life seems to be filled with bad news, greedy people, and slackers, I can remember that there are places where goodness and generosity manage to thrive in our world, and hope can spring eternal.

Those fortunate enough to work at Jameson serve as an example of goodness, friendship, tolerance, caring, and sheer fun.

As a child, JRC was the place where I felt most comfortable being myself and served as an escape out of the pressured and uncomfortable aspects of growing up in my family in Los Angeles. Camp was where I learned new perspectives on the world, new skills, made most of my closest childhood friends, and began to imagine myself in my own adulthood, making my own choices about my life. Counselors were integral to everything I learned at camp and remain the people I feel most indebted to for teaching me how to be comfortable in my own skin
